- India: 216/3 in 20 overs
- Sri Lanka: 69 all out
- Medals: India gold, Sri Lanka silver, Pakistan bronze
Back-to-back titles
The result follows India's gold at the 2023 Hangzhou Games. Pakistan took the bronze medal. The men's team followed on 3 October by beating Pakistan in their own final.
In context: a 147-run margin is large in a T20 match, and a record total at the Games shows how far ahead of the field India's batting was in this tournament.
