Bonus terms explained: how to read a wagering requirement before you accept any offer
Winzap lists a 500% welcome bonus with a 40x rollover alongside offers that carry no rollover. Here is what those terms mean in rupees.
Bonuses can look generous, but the real cost sits in the terms. This guide uses the offers listed on winzap.vip as examples, as seen on 8 October 2026. Offers change with events and festivals, so always read the current terms. Disclosure: Winzap News is published by the Winzap brand. This is information, not a recommendation to claim any offer, and you must be 18 or older.
The offers as listed
- Welcome bonus 1: 500% up to Rs 3,000, 40x rollover, paid to a bonus wallet
- Welcome bonus 2: 10% up to Rs 500, no rollover, paid as instant cash
- Re-deposit bonus: 3% up to Rs 500, no wagering
- Referral bonus: Rs 2,500 per successful referral, no wagering, paid as cash after a bet
- Loyalty or loss bonus: 3% back on weekly net losses, up to Rs 3,000, no wagering
- Free bets: vary by event; check the terms
What "40x rollover" means
A rollover (wagering requirement) is the number of times you must bet an amount before the bonus can be withdrawn. If the 40x applies to a bonus of Rs 3,000, you would need to place bets worth 3,000 x 40 = Rs 1,20,000 first. Whether it applies to the bonus alone or to the bonus plus your deposit is stated in the terms, and it changes the sum a lot.
Why the maths matters
Every casino game has a house edge. If a game has a 3% edge, then betting Rs 1,20,000 means an expected loss of about Rs 3,600 on average. A 40x requirement therefore has a cost, even when the bonus is "free". Games often count differently towards the requirement, with some counting for less or nothing.
A checklist before accepting
- Is the requirement on the bonus only, or on bonus plus deposit?
- Which games count, and at what percentage?
- Is there a maximum bet while the bonus is active, and a time limit?
- Is the bonus paid to a separate bonus wallet or as withdrawable cash?
- Can you still withdraw if you decline the bonus?
Offers with no rollover are simpler to understand, but the rest of the terms still apply. Set a deposit limit first, and never bet money you need.
In context: regulators in some countries have restricted bonuses. The UK, for example, capped bonus wagering at 10x. Rules differ by place, so you are responsible for following those where you live.
